Wazuup? Wazuup? Wazuuuup? The long awaited reunion special for the 90’s TV classic “Martin” is finally over thanks to BET . Grab your oversized t-shirts, baggy jeans, Jordan jerseys and Starter jackets. Hop in your time machine, scroll it back 30 years, go to Detroit Michigan and catch up with the crew.

Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold and Carl Anthony Payne II will be posted up in the iconic “Martin” living room all set for 90-minutes of nostalgia. “Martin: The Reunion”, is a highly anticipated celebration of the sitcom’s five legendary seasons. The cast will look back on the show’s most hilarious moments, revisit the unforgettable characters that Martin made famous as well as pay an emotional tribute to our favorite, ambiguously employed friend Tommy. Our dearest Tommy Ford passed away in 2016 from a ruptured abdominal aneurysm.

We will get to flashback to his most memorable scenes along with musical performances and testimonial drop-ins by celebrity super fans. “Martin” had us glued to our tv screens from 1992 until 1997 and it still remains a current cultural staple.

The reunion special is executive produced by Martin Lawrence through his company Run Tel Dat Entertainment. The show is executive produced and directed by Stan Lathan. “To be able to sit here 3 decades later with this amazing cast that has had such an impact on pop culture is truly a blessing,” said Martin Lawrence. "I am always humbled that fans still want more of the show and its characters. I am looking forward to the reunion special.”

I too am looking forward to seeing the crew back together. But don’t think for one second y’all are just gonna pop back in our lives without explaining what REALLY happened between Martin & Gina. And in your own words, in the presence of EVERYBODY, CONFIRM why the show was abruptly cancelled 🤨 Truth is we may never know everything but hopefully we will get some answers while enjoying the trip down memory lane.
