This Sunday’s Inspiration comes from Bishop Roderick Mitchell founder of New Life Church in Cleveland, Mississippi.  Dr. Mitchell has committed his life to the continual pursuit of the life of Christ.

Hello Family!

Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

Everything God created, has the inward capacity to grow.  There is something wrong if you are not growing.  Your should be further now than you were five years ago.  If you are still dealing with losing your temper the same as you were years ago, then you are allowing the flesh on the throne.  If you are still getting offended, or are getting easily upset, the same way as years back, then you are allowing the flesh to dictate your life. You should be improving.

Instead of praying, “God, change the other person”, you should consider praying, “God, change me.  Help me come up higher.  Help me be more patient.  Help me to stay in peace.”
