NOIRE Kwanzaa Honorees: Daniel And Genara Morris, Co-Publishers, NOIRE, Ujamma (Cooperative Economics)

“To build and maintain our own stores, shops, and other businesses and to profit from them together.”

When Danny and Gigi Morris decided that they wanted to start Noire, it was just a thought, an idea. Now, it is blossoming into a viable online publication that scopes the Black and multicultural community from a cutting-edge perspective.

Yet, Noire is more than just a Black-owned business trying to make a profit. It is also becoming a highly dynamic source of providing high standards of the informational, social, financial, spiritual and community elements that the Black and People of Color community yearn for, with all those elements cooperating to become a major force of pride and presence for all African Americans.

Thus, the principle, “Cooperative Economics.” UJAMMA salutes this new Dynamic Duo of Media.
